2010 GOAL Hunter Awards Program

GOAL is pleased to present the 2010 Hunter Awards Program! WIth four age divisions and four game divisions the awards are bigger and better than ever. We look forward to seeing your entries!

All animals must be harvested in Massachusetts during the 2010 hunting season by a licensed hunter following all game laws and regulations of the Commonwealth.

Four Divisions for 2010: (Age requirement at time of harvest)

  • Adult Men’s - Male of age 18 years old and up.
  • Adult Women’s - Women of age 18 years and up.
  • Junior Male - Male under the age of 18.
  • Junior Female - Female under the age of 18.

Awards for each division: (all entries are to be field dressed prior to weigh in.) 

Entries can be harvested by any legal means: firearm, bow, etc..

  • Heaviest Antlered Deer (any deer with at least an antler 3 inches long measured on a straight line center of the anterior (front) base of the antler burr to the tip.)
  • Heaviest Antlerless Deer
  • Heaviest Bear
  • Heaviest Coyote

Hunters must pre-register to be eligible to submit an entry. 

Registration is open to GOAL Members only

Registration fee is $5.00 (checks made out to GOAL) per registered contestant and covers entries into any and all award categories.  Entries for awards must include a photograph of the registered hunter with the animal, an official weight supplied by an official check station in Massachusetts, and a copy of the check in tag (for coyotes supply the tag number) 

There is no limit on the number of entries per pre-registered hunter.

All awards will be presented at GOAL’s 2011 Annual Membership Meeting.
